A striking set of six vintage fan-shaped coasters by Otagiri, Japan, dating to 1980. Each piece is beautifully formed in the shape of an open Japanese folding fan, finished in glossy black with deep red accents and finely raised detailing that recreates the ribs of a traditional fan.

Elegant yet playful, the sculptural design makes these as decorative as they are functional. A beautiful addition to a cocktail table, home bar or collected vintage interior.

Original labels remain on the underside, marked “Handpainted Otagiri 1980” and “Hand Crafted in Japan.”
