Vintage Toyo Hand-Painted Botanical Plates — Set of Four

A beautiful vintage set of four decorative plates by Toyo, each featuring a different hand-painted botanical palm study. Rendered in layered shades of green, ochre and muted terracotta, the illustrations have a wonderfully painterly quality, set against warm parchment-toned centres and framed by deep forest-green borders with gold-tone detailing.

Each plate features its own botanical composition, making the set especially striking displayed together. The softly scalloped silhouettes, rich lacquer-like green borders and delicate gold accents give the pieces a sophisticated Hollywood Regency and tropical traditional influence, while the botanical artwork recalls antique natural-history illustrations.

Original Toyo labels remain on the reverse. These were decorative pieces rather than ordinary tableware, and the set makes an exceptional wall arrangement or collected display.
