Beautiful vintage Japanese lacquer crumb tray and sweeper set, handmade in Japan. This elegant table accessory features a glossy black and deep burgundy lacquer finish, accented with delicate gold detailing and a decorative iridescent shell inlay.

Traditionally used to sweep crumbs from the dining table between courses, these sets were both practical and decorative pieces of tableware. The matching burgundy sweeper features its original tassel and fits beautifully across the curved tray.
