Vintage IKEA PS Swedish Pewter Candlesticks by Carl Öjerstam | Set of Two | Scandinavian Design

Vintage IKEA PS Swedish Pewter Candlesticks by Carl Öjerstam | Set of Two | Scandinavian Design

An elegant pair of Swedish candlesticks designed by Carl Öjerstam for IKEA, featuring a beautifully minimalist silhouette and softly brushed silver-toned finish.

Part of IKEA’s design-focused PS collection, these sculptural candleholders embody the understated sophistication of Scandinavian modernism. Each piece features an elongated, gently tapered stem that flows seamlessly into a wide circular base and a softly rounded candle opening, creating an elegant balance of proportion and form.

Their distinctive trumpet-like silhouettes feel both architectural and organic, making them beautiful decorative objects even when not in use. The satin metallic finish catches the light subtly, emphasizing their smooth contours and refined simplicity.

Designed to complement both modern and vintage interiors, these candlesticks are particularly striking when styled as a pair on a dining table, mantel, or console. Their timeless design pairs effortlessly with natural materials, sculptural ceramics, and thoughtfully collected objects.

The undersides retain the original markings identifying IKEA, Swedish manufacture, and designer Carl Öjerstam.

A lovely example of accessible Scandinavian design with a distinctly collectible aesthetic.
