A vintage Guzzini serving piece, made in Recanati, Italy, combining clear moulded acrylic with a polished chrome-finish base. The sculptural tilted form and contrasting materials are characteristic of Guzzini’s modern Italian tableware designs from the 1970s–1980s. Guzzini became particularly known during this period for experimenting with acrylic and other modern plastics in highly functional household objects. 

The clear dish is elevated at an angle on its curved base, giving the piece a distinctive Space Age / Italian modernist profile. Suitable for serving sweets, nuts, condiments or small appetizers, it also works well today as a decorative catchall for jewelry or small accessories.
