Vintage English Silver-Plated Scallop Shell Basket

A beautifully sculptural vintage English silver-plated basket in the form of a scallop shell, crafted in silver plate over steel. Deep radiating flutes follow the natural geometry of a seashell, creating a wonderfully reflective surface and a softly scalloped outer edge.

The shell is finished with a delicate swing handle featuring a double-scroll detail, adding an elegant decorative element to its distinctive coastal form. Beautiful displayed on its own or used as a jewellery catchall, vanity dish, bonbon basket or small serving piece.

Marked Made in England — Silver Plated on Steel.
